ITINERARY

DAY 1: MANILA DEPARTURE(–/–/–)

Check in at the airport 3 hours before Departure time.

DAY 2: ARRIVAL – ATHENS SIGHTSEEING TOUR, GREECE(–/–/D)

Upon Arrival meet in the arrival’s hall at Athens airport, meet and greet our representative and transfer to Acropolis, your guide will be awaiting you at the Entrance of Acropolis. This architectural masterpiece of the Golden age of Athens: the Parthenon dedicated to the goddess Athena, the Erectheion and the Temple of Athena Nike. See the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic games of modern times where held in 1896 and continue passing by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library and Constitution Square (Syntagma). Then have dinner at local restaurant then transfer to hotel for check-in.

DAY 3: ATHENS- ANCIENT CORINTH- PLAKA- ATHENS, GREECE(B/L/D)

After breakfast inside hotel, board the bus and drive across the coast of Attica towards Corinth. Stop at the famous man-made Corinth Canal for photos and then continue to the site of Ancient Corinth. Stop in Cenchreae, the ancient seaport from where Apostle Paul set sail for Ephesus across the Aegean Sea. Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant and then return to Athens. Then have free time in Plaka, with narrow cobblestone streets lined with tiny shops selling jeweller, clothes and local ceramics. Nearby, the whitewashed homes of the Anafiotika neighbourhood give the small enclave a Greek-island vibe. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant and transfer to Hotel.

DAY 4: ATHENS-KALAMBAKA (METEORA), GREECE(B/L/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, board the bus and drive through the fertile plains of Thessaly forwards the town of Kalambaka. Enjoy lunch and then visit the spectacular Meteora and discover places with your typical Greek Island Vibe. The UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is a mountainous region of stunning scenery. You will see hundred-year-old Byzantine Monasteries on top of huge rocks, during the Middle Ages, first built in the 14th century by monks seeking isolation and salvation. We will visit 2 Monasteries to admire superb icons, old manuscripts, unique mosaics and frescoes. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and enjoy dinner.

DAY 5: KALAMBAKA – BEROEA- THESSALONIKI-KAVALA, GREECE(B/L/D)

After breakfast inside the hotel, meet and greet your guide at the lobby and depart to Veria. You will visit the ancient synagogue where we will see the Byzantine mosaic in the monument commemorating his preaching. According to tradition, it was at this place where St. Paul preached. Continue to Thessaloniki, after lunch, you will see the White Tower (the symbol of the city), the Church of St. Demetrios, Arch of Galerius, Rotunda, Upper City, Citadel, Byzantine Wall, Roman Agora. You will continue towards the city of Kavala. Check-in at your hotel and enjoy your dinner.

DAY 6: KAVALA-ALEXANDROUPOLIS-PHILIPPI-BORDER CROSSING- CANAKKALE, TURKEY(B/L/D)

After breakfast inside the hotel and check out. Drive to and visit Philippi the town where St. Paul delivered his first sermon in Europe, sowing the seeds of Christianity. There first Christian baptism was performed, of a woman named Lydia. You will visit the Roman Theatre, probable site of the prison where St. Paul and Silas were arrested. Then transfer to Alexandroupolis at the border with Turkey where you will be dropped off at the parking area of customs on the Greek side of the boarders. Upon crossing the border, meet and greet your guide than continuing to Troy wooden horse and Troy Ancient City. DAY 7: CANAKKALE-PERGAMON-KUSADASI, TURKEY(B/L/D)

After breakfast inside the hotel proceed to Bergama Town Center then visit the Asklepion Ancient City. Along the way, feast your eyes on the beautiful Aegean Sea View. Move to visit Grotto of Seven Sleepers, this was discovered by both Christians and Muslims with growing interest. According to the Christian legend, seven young men were walled in during the reign of Decius and yet were seen alive in the streets of Ephesus during the reign of Theodosius II some years after the Council of Ephesus. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay. Dinner will be prepared inside the hotel.

DAY 8: KUSADASI-PAMUKKALE, TURKEY(B/L/D)

After breakfast inside hotel, start our day with an upbeat fashion show showcasing high-quality leather products made in Turkey. Ephesus ancient city, one of the world’s most outstanding archaeological sites. Walk-in its preserved marble streets to the Library of Celsius, the Odeon Grand Theatre, Temple of Hadrian, Roman bath. Next visit the House of Virgin Mary, it is the place where mary may have spent her last days. DAY 9: PAMUKKALE- BURSA, TURKEY(B/L/D)
